Press Release Body: Pittsford, NY: MSO5022 is a new, low-cost, full-featured 25MHz
two-channel benchtop mixed-signal oscilloscope with 8-bit resolution, combined with
a 16-channel logic analyzer - perfect for any engineer's or student's desk. USB
connection makes printing stored results easy too. With a large 7.8" 640 x 480 color
LCD, MSO5022 is small enough and light enough to carry anywhere you need. With a
buffer size of 4Msamples, MSO5022's timebase range is 5ns/div -5s/div, with
synchronous 8-bit sampling on both channels. Sensitivity range is 5mV/div-5V/div
with maximum display of 50V. Signal triggering options include: Auto, Normal,
Single, Edge, Video, and Alternate. Attractively housed in a 14.5" 7" 5.3" case
and powered from 100-240 VAC 50/60 Hz, MSO5022 consumes less than 15W and weighs
less than 2 pounds. The built-in 16-channel logic analyzer samples at 100MHz and
pre-/mid-/re-triggers on: bus and state signature as well as, data width, and offers
data search capabilities. Now you can see signals or data events on the same
space-saving instrument!

MSO5022 can automatically measure and display frequency and peak-peak/rms/mean
values, but cursors can also be moved to make individual readings. A built-in
self-calibration facility improves measurement accuracy. Video monitoring is also
possible since you can trigger on NTSC/PAL/SECAM line or field waveforms.

Another really useful feature is the ability to store 4 waveforms and settings for
comparison with live inputs. A persistence control is available too which
simulates old analog scopes to compare slow-moving waveforms with previous scans.
X-Y display allows you to see phase changes. A+B and A-B math capability is also
included. Accessories provided with the MSO5022 include two x1/x10 passive
oscilloscope probes (4 ft lead), logic probe, CD manual, PC download software, and a
USB cable.

Resembling much more expensive look-alikes, the MSO5022 Mixed Signal Oscilloscope
offers unbeatable value and is available now at an introductory price of $799.00
